Welcome to the 2011 Howard County Fair! There is a lot of fun in store this year from the crowning of the Howard County Fair Queen to rides that will make you scream and laugh. Again this year we are proud to host a stop on the Indianapolis Colts Make It Personal Tour. Join us Monday July 11th, 5-7PM, for a meet and greet with Colts players and cheerleaders, participate in the “Bleed Blue Blood Drive” at the Indiana Blood Center mobile units, register the kids for the Colts Kids Club and Colts Crib Club, register-to-win Colts pre-season tickets, pick-up free Colts giveaways, test your abilities on the quarterback challenge football toss and rock climbing wall, attempt to catch an NFL punt, play on the Colts interactive inflatables and experience Colts In Motion, the team's traveling museum. Come on out for a great time! New this year the Indiana Pacer Fan Van will stop in on Tuesday. Pioneer Village will host daily shows of the Elephant Encounter, an educational and entertaining experience for the entire family. The Great Lakes Timber Show features lumberjack fun such as log rolling, crosscut sawing, chainsaw carving, and axe throwing combined with lots of humor. The Van-Dells will perform Friday and the Howard County Music Contest (HOCOMUCO) Finals will be held Saturday, July 16th. Stop by frequently to check for updates on what's happening at the fair.
